As of 2026-10-26, ChassisDex has 25 fitment answers, 9 known problems and 9 build entries for this car, each linked to its sources and rated with a confidence tier. Generation basics first, then every entry.

Years2003-2009
TrimsCoupe: 350Z (base), Enthusiast, Performance, Touring and Track for 2003-2005, plus the 2005 35th Anniversary. 2007 coupes: 350Z, Enthusiast, Touring and Grand Touring, plus the NISMO 350Z (2007-2008). Roadster from the 2004 model year (Enthusiast, Touring, Grand Touring). 2006 and 2009 trim lists were not confirmed from a Nissan document read.
EngineVQ35DE 3.5 V6: 287 hp / 274 lb-ft in 2003-2005 coupes; 300 hp on the 2005 Track and 35th Anniversary. From 2007 the VQ35HR: 306 hp at 6,800 rpm and 268 lb-ft, 7,500 rpm limit.
NotesWheels: 5x114.3 bolt pattern, 66.1 mm hub bore and M12x1.25 lug thread (three wheel references agree; no Nissan document read states the bore). Lug nut torque in Nissan's manual: 98.1-127 N·m (73-93 ft-lb) for 2003, 108 N·m (80 ft-lb) for 2007. Factory sizes: 2003-2005 base, Enthusiast and Touring 5AT run staggered 17s (17x7.5 front / 17x8 rear) with 225/50R17 / 235/50R17. Performance and Touring 6MT got 18s with 225/45R18 / 245/45R18; the front width is disputed (7.5 in one spec table, 8.0 in a wheel shop's table). The 2003-2005 Track has forged 18x8 / 18x8.5 with the same 18-inch tires. 2007: standard 18x8 +30 / 18x8.5 +33 with 225/45R18 / 245/45R18; Grand Touring and NISMO get RAYS forged 18x9 +30 / 19x10 +30 with 245/40R18 / 265/35R19 (offsets from the 2007 manual). Brembo (4-piston front / 2-piston rear) came on the 2003-2005 Track, 2005 35th Anniversary, 2005 Roadster Grand Touring 6MT, and 2007-2008 Grand Touring and NISMO; the 2003 manual lists a separate temporary spare for Brembo cars (the 2007 manual lists only one spare). The Brembo rear rotor diameter is disputed (332 mm in the 2003 manual, 322 mm in the 2007 manual). Standard tire pressure monitoring arrived for 2005. 2006 and 2009 wheel lists were not confirmed from a Nissan document.

NoteStaggered on every trim, so tires cannot rotate front to rear. Brembo cars need wheels that clear 324 mm front rotors and 4-piston calipers; 2003 Brembo cars use a different temporary spare. 2006 and 2009 cars and the Roadster wheel list by trim were not confirmed from a Nissan document.
