Nissan 350Z (Z33, 2003-2009): Brakes mods
Added · Updated
What are the best brakes mods for the Nissan 350Z (Z33, 2003-2009)?
It depends on the car’s condition and how you use it. These are the 1 brakes build entry we have sourced for this car: Factory Brembo brakes onto a non-Brembo 350Z (Limited). Each lists caveats, related problems and sources so you can match it to your goal.
Factory Brembo brakes onto a non-Brembo 350Z Limited
Owners swap in factory Brembo calipers and rotors from a Track, Grand Touring, NISMO or 2003-2004 G35 coupe. Expect new rear caliper bolts, trimming the rear dust shields, and a 16-inch spare that no longer fits. Some wheels will not clear the 324 mm front rotors.
Caveats: Forum-level detail only. Nissan's 2003 and 2007 manuals disagree on the Brembo rear rotor size, so buy rotors to match the calipers you have. Follow the manual for torque and bleeding.
Parts: 350Z factory Brembo calipers and rotors (Track / GT / NISMO) on a non-Brembo 350Z, G35 coupe 2003-2004 6MT Brembo brakes on a non-Brembo 350Z, Factory Brembo brakes, 350Z (Track, 35th Anniversary, Grand Touring, NISMO), Non-Brembo 350Z temporary spare on a Brembo 350Z
