Notes
A forum post says all 2004-07 STI front Brembos bolt to any 2002-07 WRX front, using 2004 STI rotors so the 5x100 lug pattern matches, and dust shields must be removed or drilled. Note: the 2009 Grassroots buyer guide calls the STI brake swap 'much more difficult' because of spindle/bearing/bolt-pattern differences; that likely concerns 2005+ STI parts but the sources do not say. Unresolved conflict; community-reported, not manufacturer verified.
