Sources disagree, and the one closest to the maker says no. A Brembo distributor relaying Brembo engineering says WRX STI front calipers are not suitable for the BRZ/FR-S/86: mounted on this car either air gets trapped or the staggered pistons end up reversed, and the larger pistons add pedal travel, too much front bias and ABS problems. One forum owner fitted 2004 STI calipers anyway by moving bleeders. We do not recommend it.
