STI 6-speed swap Confirmed
The usual answer when the WRX 5-speed is the weak link. Guides agree the cheapest route keeps the WRX R160 rear (re-geared to match) and WRX hubs; the full R180 route is stronger but pulls in STI axles, hubs and rear brakes.
