Details
NB fenders are a little more forgiving than the NA's. A wheel guide lists 15x8 +25 to +30 with 205/50R15 or 225/45R15 on an NB, with a roll recommended when lowered and about -1.5 degrees of camber. An NB owner on the Miata.net forum runs RPF1s with 205/50R15 and reports no rubbing; an owner gallery entry for a 2004 on coilovers at about 4.25 in (front pinch weld) reports rubbing the fender liner under hard cornering until the liner and the fender-to-bumper tab were trimmed. Most 15-inch wheels clear the NB Sport brakes (2001-02 Sport package, all 2003-05), but check your specific wheel design. Aftermarket wheels usually have a larger bore than the 54.1 mm hub, so use hub rings if the wheel is hub-centric by design.
