| Years | 1992-1995 (US Civic); Civic del Sol 1993-1997 (US) |
|---|---|
| Trims | Trims on a tire retailer's 1992 and 1995 pages: CX, VX, DX, LX, EX, Si (only 1995 splits EX coupe and EX sedan). Honda bulletins name the CX and DX hatch, DX coupe, DX and LX sedan, Si hatch and EX coupe. Civic del Sol (targa): S, Si, and VTEC from 1994 (enthusiast guide). Check the trim on the door jamb or a VIN decoder. |
| Engine | Engine codes are tier 1 (community-reported): they come from a retailer and an enthusiast guide, not Honda, which prints no engine codes in sources read. A coilover retailer lists CX 1.5 L D15B8, DX/LX 1.5 L D15B7 and EX/Si 1.6 L D16Z6. The enthusiast del Sol guide gives D15B7 for 92-95 DX/LX and the 93-95 del Sol S, D16Z6 (125 hp) for 92-95 EX and the 93-95 del Sol Si, D16Y7 / D16Y8 for the 1996-97 del Sol S / Si, and DOHC VTEC B16A3 (160 hp) for the 1994-95 del Sol VTEC and B16A2 for 1996-97. The VX engine is not described in sources read. |
| Notes | Reference sites give 4x100, a 56.1 mm hub and M12x1.5 lug nuts for US EG Civics and del Sols; Honda prints none of these in sources read. Wheel nut torque is 80 ft-lb (108 N·m); note that Honda's 1993 service manual and TSB 92-031 (1992-94 Civic) list 110 N·m for the same 80 ft-lb. Base cars run 13-inch wheels and rear drums (180 mm drums on the trims in TSB 92-031). Forum posters name the 92-95 Si hatch (one says only some) and the 1993-97 del Sol Si / VTEC as the EG-family cars with factory rear discs; the guide confirms discs all round on the del Sol Si and VTEC. The Civic del Sol (1993-1997) is filed here: it ran to 1997 alongside the EK, rows run past 1995 only where a source names the del Sol, and those rows say del Sol in their trim line. |

Wheel and hub specs
| Bolt pattern | 4x100 |
|---|---|
| Hub (center) bore | 56.1 mm |
| Lug thread | M12x1.5 |
| Factory wheel sizes |
|
| Note | Goodyear pages were read for 1992 and 1995 Civic and 1994 del Sol only; 1993-94 Civic sizes by trim are not confirmed (Honda TSB 93-029 names P165/70R13 and P175/70R13 as original sizes on 1992-94 cars, without trims). Offset: Honda prints none in sources read; BoltPattern HQ and TiresWheels say 45 mm, and WheelPrice's factory table gives ET45 for a 14x5.5 DX/LX wheel and ET50 for a 15x6 Si wheel (which conflicts with the retailer's 14-inch Si tire), so no factory offset is listed. Lug seat: Honda prints none in sources read; BoltPattern HQ's 1995 page says to check conical vs spherical by trim, so it is left blank here. Del Sol data comes from an enthusiast guide, a tire retailer and Tirefolio, not Honda. |
