Put 18-inch STI wheels on a VA WRX Reported
The 2012-17 STI 18-inch wheels and the VA WRX 18 are 18x8½J +55 on 5x114.3 (Subaru manuals; a wheel guide gives the same +55 for 2008-11 STIs), so they bolt to any VA with 245/40R18 tires (the size Subaru fits to 18-inch VA cars). They also clear the STI 4-piston Brembos, which the WRX 17x8 does not.
Caveats: Wheel nuts 120 N·m. The 2008-14 WRX 17-inch wheels (5x100) do not fit a VA. The 2018+ STI 6-piston needs OEM STI 18s or larger per a retailer.
