5x114.3 bolt pattern: which cars use it, and what actually swaps

Added · Updated

Which cars on ChassisDex use the 5x114.3 bolt pattern, and do their wheels swap?

All 4 of these cars use 5x114.3: the Mazda Miata NC (2006-2015 US model years), with a 67.1 mm hub bore and M12x1.5 lug thread; the Nissan 350Z (Z33, 2003-2009), with a 66.1 mm hub bore and M12x1.25 studs with lug nuts lug thread; the Infiniti G35 (V35, 2003-2007 sedan and coupe), with a 66.1 mm hub bore and M12x1.25 studs with lug nuts lug thread; the SE and LE trims of the Nissan 240SX (S14, 1995-1998), with a 66.1 mm hub bore and M12x1.25 studs with lug nuts lug thread. A shared bolt pattern alone does not mean a wheel fits: hub bore, offset, width, brake clearance and lug thread/seat must also work. Only the sourced answers below are fitment verdicts.

  • 16x6.5, 205/50R16 87V (2009, SV, Sport)
  • 17x7, 205/45R17 84W (2009, Touring, Grand Touring)
NoteMazda sheets for 2006 and 2009 were read; 2007-08 and 2010-15 trim-to-wheel mapping not checked. Factory offset is unclear: a vendor gives 55 mm for the 17-inch wheel, while the Miata.net wheel table lists 45 mm for NC wheels (16 or 17 inch); the Mazda sheets and manuals read print none. Tire pressure 200 kPa (29 psi) front and rear on both sizes.

NoteStaggered on every trim, so tires cannot rotate front to rear. Brembo cars need wheels that clear 324 mm front rotors and 4-piston calipers; 2003 Brembo cars use a different temporary spare. 2006 and 2009 cars and the Roadster wheel list by trim were not confirmed from a Nissan document.

  • 18-inch (width not stated) not stated, P235/45R18 (2005-2006, Sedan 6MT and Sport package (RWD))
NoteCoupes are staggered on every factory wheel; sedans are square. Sedans have less rear fender room than coupes. The G35x needs matched rolling diameters front to rear. Widths for 2005-2007 wheels and all Infiniti offsets were not found in an Infiniti document.
