Details

RallySport Direct lists Whiteline KSR202 for 2002-2004 WRX and STI (plus older Imprezas, Foresters and Legacys), as a direct replacement for the rubber rack mounts. It says soft, aged mounts let the rack shift under load, so the wheel moves a little before the rack responds and the steering feels vague; polyurethane holds the rack in place. The fitment is not settled: Whiteline's distributor Suspension.com (DST) lists the other kit, KSR206, for GD WRX sedans from MY03 (built 9/2002 on). Whiteline's own page names KSR206 only for the 2005-07 Impreza, and its install sheet says MY05-on. So 2002 cars point to KSR202, and for a 2003-04 WRX check the kit against your car's rack mounts or Whiteline's fitment tool before ordering. Steering part: have it installed properly and get an alignment afterward.
